Our Story
Our story began during a family trip to Costa Rica, where we were introduced to the meaning of “Pura Vida.” We quickly realized it was more than just a phrase. For the locals, it’s a way of life rooted in positivity, gratitude, enjoying the moment, and supporting one another.
That experience stayed with us and inspired the vision behind Pura Vida Volleyball Academy. We wanted to create more than just a volleyball club. We wanted to build a positive environment where athletes can grow in confidence, compete at a high level, support their teammates, and rediscover why they fell in love with the game in the first place.
To us, Pura Vida is about passion, perspective, and creating an experience athletes will remember long after the season ends.
