Teams can expect approximately 21-24 days of competition throughout the season. This includes local tournaments, travel tournaments, and any qualifying events your team attends.

No. Playing time is earned through hard work, dedication, and a positive attitude

Yes. We welcome multi-sport athletes. However, Pura Vida practice and tournaments are expected to be a priority during our season. Athletes are expected to attend all scheduled practices and tournaments unless absences has been approved in advance by their coach or the club director. We are happy to work with families when schedules do not conflict.

Yes. Payments are split into three installments, with the final payment due by January 1st.
The first payment of $1,000 will be due on commitment night on July 29, 2026 at 6PM for 15U, 16U, and 17U teams.

Should a team earn a bid for Nationals, families will be responsible for the athlete’s travel, lodging, meals, and any applicable tournament-related expenses. Pura Vida Volleyball Academy eill cover all coach travel expenses and any additional gym time needed to prepare for the event.

Yes. We will provide a few club-organized fundraising options and are open
to new ideas. -
Most travel tournaments are within 4–6 hours. Travel decisions are made
collaboratively between coaches and families. -
Yes. Many Pura Vida coaches offer private lessons. We also offer small group and one-on-one sessions with our Private Training Specialist, Jake Pederson.

Jerseys will be distributed at least 1 week prior to first tournament.
